Some more snow to report from Hakuba this morning. Just a frosting and thin layer in base areas, but more up on the mountains.
Hakuba Goryu reporting an impressive 15cm of snow on upper slopes this morning, with just 1cm at base. Hakuba 47 was reporting 3cm at base and 5cm higher up, with Happo one telling us that they got 3cm of fresh snow on the upper slopes.
We have had mixed conditions today up until this afternoon with some blue skies peeking from behind the clouds at times, and then snow also falling on the mountains this afternoon. It has kept fairly cold during the day.
Tomorrow should be clearer from the get go with clear and sunny skies forecast for Saturday and warmer conditions.
