Good morning from Hakuba on this national holiday (National Foundation Day).
Due to it being a holiday, it will probably more feel like a weekend than a Tuesday.
Anyway some good numbers to report this morning with Happo-one, Goryu and 47 all reporting 15-20cm across the mountain, Cortina reporting 30cm and I am noticing a Tsugaike source reporting 35cm.
Very nice.
Early morning we have a bunch of visibility conditions - it's still limited up on the upper areas of Happo-one and Goryu right now, but in other areas it's much clearer and there is quite a lot of blue sky opening up above us and the sun is out.
It should be a really good day.
From tomorrow it will be getting much milder than it has been - and more than we would like - for a few days. Let's hope it doesn't warm up too much.
I'm heading out now. The biggest problem is choosing where to go.
