New snowfall at base 31cm
Snowfall at base this season 1553cm

Posted on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Geto Kogen Now report can be found here.

Morning from Geto Kogen.

'Just' 31cm of snowfall at base to report this morning but I note that the ski area itself is saying there has been 73cm on upper areas. Total accumulation up there is now over 22m. Can't help but laugh when I see that number, it's just nuts! ;)

So yes, it's snowing and at times visibility limited with wind blowing it all about everywhere. I think the peak of this lot is probably beyond us and things might be a bit calmer through tomorrow.
