Good Morning Skiers & Boarders,
There was nothing significant to report yesterday.
A far cry from today where about an hour ago, it started looking like a snow globe out there. It just warms the old cockles of my heart. It's the way winter should be, and we just haven't had enough of those days this year. I've been getting reports of pebbles, branches, and other odd organic matter spontaneously sprouting in the middle of some runs in the super high traffic areas. Unacceptable, right? I agree. I've tried calling the Customer Service line at Mother Nature Inc. to let her know, but so far no answer. I think she's been vacationing in Hakuba this year.
Anyway, hang tight. Supposed to snow off/on the rest of the day. There might be some good news tomorrow morning.
Think snow.
* Furano Zone Lift B (aka Furano Quad) is closed for the season due to mechanical failure. New braking mechanism must be fabricated.**
Furano Zone: All except Lift B.
Kitanomine: All lifts open.
