Snowfall at base this season 390cm

Posted on Thursday 6th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

Good morning skiers & boarders,

Alright! 11 cm this morning, which is 50% than the 7 cm of yesterday, and you can see/feel the difference. Not super fwuffy, quite packable actually. Temps hovering close to zero, which ain't ideal. Fairly windy today...kinda surprised the Gondola is still running. Must be OK on top. The wind is moving stuff around quite a bit, so there should be lots of little leeward treasure chests out there. Enjoy.

Think snow.

** Furano Zone Lift B (aka Furano Quad) is closed for the season due to mechanical failure. New braking mechanism must be fabricated.**

Furano Zone: All except Lift B.

Kitanomine: All lifts open.

Night skiing until 6:00 PM tonight on both sides.
