Welcome to Friday. Not only is it shaping up to be a great weekend here in Furano, it is going to be a great Friday as well. The main thing to be excited about is fresh snow, and yet again we have a nice fresh layer of 9cm that has fallen earlier this morning.
It is wintery cold sitting at around -6c at base at the moment but the thermometer is likely to rise a couple of degrees during the day. There is a light trickle of snow falling at the moment and this is forecast to continue right throughout the day. Actually the forecast for the next 6 days is showing continuous snowfall for Furano!
The Premium Zone is open today from 10:30-14:00 and that would be the place to be around the opening time to get some of that new snow in your face.
