Posted on Monday 7th April 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
The weekend turned out to be a stonker with a snow front delivering new powder snow which was much appreciated given that we are now well into April. Overnight there has been further light snow fall which has amounted to 3cm in the village and about double that at higher elevations on the mountain. The weather is fine with the sun coming through and a bit of light wind whipping around. The outlook for tomorrow is for more sun, and Wednesday could see some rain come through.
