The day turned out to be great with morning cloud lifting early and the sun breaking through to make a typically cold Furano day quite pleasant. There was a dusting of snow overnight which refreshed the nicely groomed pistes. Given that the Kitanomine Gondola was closed yesterday there was plenty of side powder waiting for those that ventured over to the Kitanomine side. The remainder of the week could be brilliant if the snow that is forecast from Thursday to Saturday stays on the radar.
