Furano was hit by a major snow front on Tuesday and Wednesday. That has delivered a total of 39cm of light dry powder at town level.


The weather has cleared and today is light cloud over the resort, with the morning sun breaking through.


It will stay cold today with a high of -9c. Currently it is -12c.


With no wind and plenty of fresh snow, the skiing will be excellent on and off trail.
