Today is the calm after the snowstorm.
Furano has awoken to a beautiful blue sky morning with no cloud and no wind.
There is a further 29cm of fresh snow to report. Further snow is not expected again until Saturday.
Visibility on mountain couldn't be better and the snow conditions will be epic.
The resort is advising that regular lift operations may be delayed or changed due to the large amount of snow in the last 24 hours.
