Good morning from Furano where it's perfectly calm and -7 degrees early on, with 4cm of fresh snow on the ground overnight.
The sun is out but there is a chance of some more snowfall later on so we should be on for another fine day!
As with all of Japan, look for warmer conditions this coming weekend and temperatures rising above zero. There's even some rain on some forecasts which does not sound appealing!
The Dynamic Course is closed today to the general public due to some reserved pole training.
