The day started off overcast with low light making the dips and bumps in the ground difficult to see. There hasn't quite been enough snow to cover the rain damage from a couple of days ago so the slopes are still a little icy or more accurately frosty. Around 11am the sun broke through the clouds and the resort is bathing in sun. This has softened the frosty slopes just enough to make the day all that more pleasurable. The forecast is looking good for the next couple of days with moderate snow expected tonight and then continuous snow through until Friday evening. Looks like it could be a great weekend.
