Been really nice out there for the last couple of days and with the grooming done overnight things should continue today. We haven't had a great deal of snow overnight just more of a dusting.
Very light snow only is forecasted for the weekend but at least at the moment the flakes have been a good size which keeps it powdery.
Though more of the resort becomes skiable they are hoping to have a tad more snowfall before the gondola opens here in Kitanomine but a call on that may be made over the weekend.
Night skiing begins tonight in the Kitanomine zone.
