Good Morning Skiers & Boarders,
It's a wonderful snowy day here in Furano. It's been snowing since I got up, and we've got 4 cm of new snow so far. If this keeps up, we should have much more by tomorrow. It's quite windy today, so I won't be surprised if they stop the Gondola. It's already on slow speed, which is one step before closing. At slow speed, it can take up to 45 minutes to get to the top. Ask me how I know. You really want to do that? My advice would be to stay on the lifts.
Strangely, according to the Internets, it was warmer at 5 AM than it is now. Fine with me, as it was above freezing and now it's not. Anyways, it's supposed to snow most of the day (promises, promises), but we'll just have to wait and see.
The Great Warming Event of 2025 is still forecast for Friday, with a projected high of +8 C!! My universal wax is ready to go. It's supposed to be partly sunny that day, so it should actually be very nice. Get ready to work on your tan.
Keep up the good work. Think snow.
