Independent snow and weather reporting from the Furano region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 595cm

Posted on Sunday 25th February 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

This morning we have more fresh snow here in the village measuring in at 5cm. I would expect about double that at the top of the resort, so that will be another great topping of powder on top of yesterdays big dump. There is some light low cloud hovering on the resort so visibility will be a little affected at least. With no wind at base and a reasonably mild high temperature of -6c it should be a pleasant day.

Kitanomine Zone open.
