Snowfall at base this season 406cm

Magical! That is the word that comes to mind as I look up and see a bluebird morning with the sky looking absolutely perfect and the sun out in full force. There is only the slightest of breeze detectable but winds are expected to pick up a little in the afternoon. While the sky and sun are the positives, overnight snow is only a 2cm dusting so there will be no change to the firm packed slopes. Light snow is possible during the day. Overall it is a fantastic morning so I'd advise anyone to forgo the coffee and get up there asap.
