Yesterday was sweltering as temperatures rose well above freezing and the sun shone down. It felt like an early arrival of spring, and the locals were quick to start clearing snow as the layer of white on the ground went to slush. Today is a very warm start, currently just below freezing and expected to rise to a high of +3c. The sun will be around for most of the day along with clear skies. Snow on the lower slopes will be a bit spring-like, while the snow on the upper mountain is still in really good condition.
