Looks like another great day on the resort. The morning lows were below zero, but mild, and have already risen into positive territory which is evidenced by the dripping water running off roofs and the roads being particularly slippery with a bit of melt on top of the snow.
There is high cloud cover over Furano, but it is well above the ski resort and visibility is good with just a little flat light in places. There has been a nice little top up of 2cm fresh snow, which will ski nicely during the morning but be a bit heavier than usual due to the warmer temperatures. There is no breeze around the village.
Tomorrow morning should be sunny and there will be no snow tomorrow until evening, when a major snow storm is due to drop a significant snow on the resort.
