There are strong winds blowing around the base area and these are forecast to continue throughout the day. Although temperatures are not particularly cold the wind chill factor will be high. There has been 7cm of snow so far and the snow will continue through until tomorrow evening which is good news.


Kitanomine Gondola operation is on hold at the moment and it is expected it will not be able to operate at all today due to the wind.
