Snowfall at base this season 146cm

Hello skiers and snowboarders,

Good news on several fronts. First, good chunk of snow again last night. Second, the snowcats were busy grooming the lower part of Kitanomine, so maybe it can open on the 21st as planned. Third, Lift E is open on the top of the Furano side, but only 1 run. We'll take what we can get. So for the first time this season, we have true top-to-bottom skiing.

English muffin update: Costco in Sapporo is currently carrying English muffins, which I discovered on a recent supply trip. Bought a package, threw them in my freezer so I can parse them out carefully, and ordered a new toaster from Amazon. Life is looking up.

Only 9 more shopping days until Christmas.

Think snow.

Ropeway, Lifts C, D, E open.
