Good morning skiers & boarders,
Awoke to see my car covered in snow after three days of fairly warm temps. It's a bit wet and heavy, but will pack down nicely. Mountain weather will do what it wants. Just when you think spring is around the corner, 'ol Mother Nature reminds you otherwise.
Fairly windy up on top again today, so the Gondola is closed.
About 3 cm at the base, but much more at higher elevations. I know this because I was parked overnight at a slightly higher elevation, and my car had much more snow than down in town. Snow and clouds are expected until Tuesday.
Think snow. Think spring.
** Furano Zone Lift B (aka Furano Quad) is closed for the season due to mechanical failure. New braking mechanism must be fabricated.**
Furano Zone: All open except Lift B. A3 run is closed.
Kitanomine: Gondola is closed due to wind. Premium Zone is closed.
Regular lifts closing at 4:00 PM
Night skiing until 6:00 PM tonight on both sides.
