After riding out an unseasonably warm spell across Hokkaido the snow has returned. This morning there is 14cm of new snow at base level and it is snowing heavily with snow forecast through the day. The ski area is still only opening limited terrain but we can expect more to be opened up as the snow accumulates through this week. The wind is light to moderate and visibility isn't the best with all this snow coming down. The forecast shows daily snow through the entire week.
