Independent snow and weather reporting from the Furano region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 4cm
Snowfall at base this season 509cm

Posted on Tuesday 12th March 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

There is a nice blanket of fresh snow across the village this morning. This is 4cm at base and I would expect it to be around 10cm higher up on the mountain. The current overcast conditions are expected to stay throughout the day and temperatures won't change much from the 2c at the moment. Tomorrow will be a bit warmer and there is the possibility of some light rain.
