It will be a great morning on the mountain. The resort has clear skies above and wind conditions are calm which was evidenced by a hot air balloon making a free flight across the valley this morning. There has been a light dusting of snow since yesterday.
Temperatures have started off wintery cold with -11c recorded at the top of the resort. During the day the temperatures will rise, and from tonight they are forecast to go into positive territory through until Sunday morning. These warmer temperatures are predicted to bring rain rather than snow. We will just have to wait and see what eventuates and hopefully we can scrape through with a bit of fresh snow instead of wet rain.
