Snowfall at base this season 142cm
Posted on Wednesday 12th December 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
I have just been to measure the snowfall and have been pleasantly surprised that the light flurry of last night has accumulated to 9cm. It is very very light and puffy and will be great for skiing on this morning. Beginners will be elated as the resort is opening the Prince Romance chair from today, and there will be night skiing on that lift from tonight. Possibly there will be more snow tonight but after that there isn't a great deal on the forecast for the next few days.
Open trails:
Panorama
Shirakaba
Spies (upper part only)
Sailer
Prince
Open lifts:
Prince Romance chair
Downhill Romance 2 chair
Downhill Romance 3 chair
