angelski 0
I will be going to Niseko in February and wanted to know if anyone can recommend a good backcountry guide/trip. Should I book before I leave?
powda tele 0
Lots of BC trips around if you have the knowledge and the equipment. Am I reading it correct in assuming you need a guide? (Good idea if you don't have much BC experience and/or all the avalanche gear etc.) If you need a guide, I've heard good reports of something like "Niseko Powder Tours" (something like that). Also, Niseko Adventure Centre (NAC) do good trips. NAC may be more true BC than the former, but I'm don't know much about Niseko Powder. Both of them are located in Niseko. It'd be a good idea to specify you want an Eng speaking guide if that's what you need. Good luck. There's heaps of powder out there!
IM 0
Amongs many tour operators, NAC, SAS, and NOASC are the oldest. They all do novice to more of a true BC tours. They are all located Hirafu and flyers are all over the place. Have fun. It has been a great trip for me over the holidays, dump after dump of poweder, and it is still dumping.
