Like 7 jumps in a row!!! I've been in Hakuba Cortina but they have not got much. Thanks for the help as i am planning to make a trip in feb! Link to post Share on other sites
Ocean11 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Share Posted September 17, 2002 Last year, Nozawa Onsen built a run with 7 or more jumps (bumps really) on it. It's not very long, nor steep, nor the jumps big, but it looked kinda fun. There are also a few other places in Nozawa where you can get big air going off the snowed-under paddy walls, but they're not kickers. This info is definitely offered FWIW. There is some English on the page. It might be a bit slow without broadband. http://www.yanaba.co.jp/ You can demo a lot of boards there too. Despite all the jumps and toys, there's no doctor there, and I met a guy once that said he had to drive down to Omachi with a broken wrist (from falling off the lift, as it happens). The tabletop at the top is quite big, but the rest are only so so. You can get a few in in a line though. Snowboard World Heights is another small resort with a few pipes and a park designed by Japanese pro Rio Tahara.
