mattwatson 0
I have a baby and a two year old and my wife and I would like to hit the slopes this winter. As one child has food allergies we`d prefer to go self catering. Otherwise we`d like to find a sympathetic hotel preferably with childcare. Any ideas?
Markie 0
It's expensive, but Club Med, Sahoro, has very good child care services. They will take your kids, of all ages, and teach them skiing/boarding and also assign them into groups for other activities, including lunch. Parents can go out and have a good time after breakfast and pick up their kids at about 4 pm every day.

NoFakie 45
Some resorts advertise as having kids rooms. As for self-catering, you could always stop at a log cabin somewhere. There are a quite of a few here in Hakuba. I rented a nice one from these people when my folks came to Japan. http://www.gvhakuba.co.jp/index2.html
f5h76r 0
All I know - ARAI have a great childrens facilities over in Niigata and in Yuzawa, NASPA have a childrens room (thats a skiing only resort though so not much use if you're a boarder).
