NoFakie 45
Another TV thread folks! This time NHK BS1 have a documentary about Yuichiro Miura, the guy that skied down Everest. He's going back again, aged 70. Tune in at 6pm tonight (Sat). If you miss it, one of the Japanese skiing mags has a report about him this month. It says he walks around with ankle weights on all the time.

NoFakie 45
Pass the chips and dips - couch potato in the house! Mr Miura's old man is on TV today. He's the 99-year-old bloke who recently made it down M. Blanc. Yesterday's program said that he skies 120 days a year. Inspiring stuff. The program is called Zone and starts at 6:30 on TBS and affiliated channels.
