The Grinch hated Carving! The whole Carving season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason. It could be that his plates weren't screwed on quite right. It could be, perhaps, that his boots were too tight. But I think that the most likely reason of all May have been that his board was two sizes too small. But, Whatever the reason, His board or his boots, He stood there on Carver's Eve, hating the Whos, Staring down from his cave with a sour, Grinchy frown At the warm lighted windows below in Carve Town. For he knew every carver in Who-ville (the fools!) Was busy honing edges with de-burring tools. "And they're waxing their sidewalls!" he snarled with a sneer. "Tomorrow is Carving! It's practically here!" Then he growled, with his Grinch fingers nervously drumming, "I MUST find a way to keep Carving from coming!" Link to post Share on other sites
