Irony

My father's mother was a Catholic Celt from Cornwall. My mother's mother was a Catholic Celt from Ireland.

 

America and to a lesser extent Australia gave guns and ammunition and money to the Catholic Celts in order to overthrow a western liberal democracy. Irish terrorism was perfectly OK when thugs and bstards were bombing and murdering English children.

 

Since 9/11 and the Bali bombs, the killing of innocents has become less fashionable. Ironic isn't it, that support for the IRA has fallen away. Blowing English children to pieces is OK. Dead Mercans and Strayans count for much more.

TBH Soubs, this point did cross my mind in the aftermath of 9/11, as if terrorism was some new modern blight on the world....
