Tubby Beaver 209
I'm moving to Japan at the end of March and I'm looking to find me an apartment. Any tips on Gaijin friendly agencies and/ or landlords in the Fujisawa, Kanagawa area? If anyone is looking for a flatmate in this area too please drop me a line! bushpig 0
most big agencies are fine with gaijin. They may run into trouble when getting the landlord approval, but that is simply hit and miss. One thing to remember is that you MUST have a sponsor. If not, then they won't give you a contract. Are you coming for work? If so get your company to sponsor you. Study? Try your school. Do you know people in Japan that you could ask? Good luck with it.

Tubby Beaver 209
Thanks alot!! I have been given a job, and the company says they will help me to get a flat, so I take it they will sponsor me or be my guarantor, but they won't set me up in one as companies like NOVA and AEON do.
