Guest
Hey just want to spread the word went to a cool water jumping spot last weekend. Its pretty good if you have a car it is easy to get to from the Kansai area. The ski resort name is Wakasu. its small. Anyways bring a life jacket helmut a wet suit if your weak but I was fine in the fall wet suit is a must. camping is only 5 mins walk from the jump. cost 3100 for 3 hours jumping. If its your first time that is enough. plus 500 rental cost of a life jacket. skis are 1500 hundred yen if you break them no problems. if anyone has any questions email me. MoonNick33@Hotmail.com Oh it is in west hyogo or east Tottori. Nick
Jinja 0
I always love new, crazy sports..... But for the uneducated (ie. me), what is water jumping exactly? Cheers.
Guest
Water jumping is simple. They set up a plastic ramp you ski down it hit a small or big one make and practice your tricks. In Nagano they have a place with five different jump sizes. I hope that can answer the question.
Guest
Man, I looked at this board and found this old topic, and went ahead and tried this water jumping thing this past weekend and it totally sucked. There was no water, only ice. It totally sucked and I broke my face. If it weren't for those ice fishermen and their 100 kg test hooks and lines , I'd be sunk.
