rollabout I am hearing you VB. When I was younger I would ride and break any horse (with NO helmet). Fall off get up dust yourself off and get back on. Discovered as I got older you don't actually bounce as well even though I have MUCH MORE padding now I hit the ground and lay there in agony!! So I have taken up a much safer sport SKIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! clap

Toowoomba is 700 metres above sea level. It is a mountain top that is what was so devastating about this. These people had NO WARNING at all.

So many more sad stories coming out. One father managed to get his 5 year old in a tree and told him to hang on before the father was swept to another tree. He kept talking to his son telling him to hang on hang on. He prayed that it would get dark before the water level dropped so the little boy would see his dead mother and brother who were trapped in the car. The night before the mother was involved in a rescue of a woman who drove into a flooded road.
  5. A some good news in all this bad news my friends niece and family have all been found safe. All 10 horses tragically perished.

Just went to the supermarket to pick up some items for dinner NOTHING!!!!! Shelves are empty NO BREAD - NO MILK - NO Fresh Produce. It was a little scary. Was also told that 2 McDonald stores will close their doors tomorrow as they have run out of food and can't get any delivered as the bigger stores are being looked after first.

If roads aren't opened tomorrow our 2 local petrol stations will also run out of fuel.
