Niseko Now is reporting a nice 11cm coverage overnight with the sweet sweet snow's continuing throughout today! 13 days to go!!! Work has turned into a day full of weather watching and staring at Pow Pics! Apologies to the Boss.....

I think you'll find the 187 on the Niseko Now report come from total snowfall rather than accumulated depth......?!?

Totally agree with CreekBoy.... When boarding in Whistler one year I witnessed an out of control beginner launch off a hump and smash his freshly tuned snowboard into the back of an unsuspecting boarder who decided to take a break and sit on the run below the hump.
Wasn't a pretty sight to say the least....................

Mike Pow, your a legend...... When are ya gonna go out and get some more brilliant pics? I particularly enjoyed your mid/late November pics when you hiked Niseko before opening day. Some village pics would be great!

Niseko recieved considerable Snow falls Saturday and Sunday nights and it has been continueing to snow throughout today without about an additional 25-30cm expected over the next 3 days up top. Just to give you a comparison of the snow depth at the top of Niseko compared to this time since 2002........
December 3rd 2002 - 130cm
December 3rd 2003 - 0cm
December 3rd 2004 - 35cm
December 3rd 2005 - 140cm
December 3rd 2006 - 85cm
TODAY - 157cm Base up top!!!!!!!!
