Reports here in the East are that they "think" it was "probably" a Great White - so there's a posse out looking for "it".
Logically, how the hell do you know "it" when you don't even know for certain what type of animal "it" is? Or, do you just kill all the sharks you see just on the off chance that you've got the right one, perhaps!
Seems dumb to me!

) will be every bit as clever as any chimp you can name.We owned a couple of his relatives (distant, being bred in Aus) but they are beautiful pups, full of fun and soooo damned smart!
Unfortunately, ours were not smart enough to leave alone the leg of lamb that a fox was carrying through our place. Someone had laced the leg with a fox bait, and killed both our gorgeous boys withing a day of each other!
Strychnine or Lucijet, nobody knows for sure, but they were stiff and cold by the time we got to them in the morning!

Reported here as the "largest typhoon ever to make landfall" - not quite sure what that means, but it sure as hell ain't a fun place to be!
I have just spent a few hours seconds analysing this sentence and consulting with a few friends who are experts at "English", and it seems to be that it means that this was the largest typhoon to make landfall, ever.
I hope that helps, and I'm glad to help!
But, how do you measure the "size" of a typhoon? diameter, wind speed, pressure differences, or what?
Consult a few more friends, pies, and let us know what you come up with!

Why in Congress do they announce the President as 'The President of the United States'?
Might the people there mistake him as being the president of the local pie association?
Wouldn't be nice to refer to him as POTUS, now, would it?
