  1. Has anyone flown Jetstar and gone Business as it's only an extra $800?

I actually got upgraded once for under $200 a seat (there were 2 of us!) and it was OK. They called me and asked if I'd accept a cheap upgrade - said OK just to see! But certainly not worth the additional originally asked. Extra leg room is OK, free champers on arrival and throughout the flight OK, but not worth the $800 a seat it was originally costed at.

I feel sorry for people who pay JAL or QANTAS prices and end up on a Jetstar "Code Share" flight with JokeStar service! At least if I pay JetStar prices I am getting what I pay for, if I pay QANTAS prices and get Jet* level service, I'd be mighty pi$$ed!

Cheers JA yeah I was going to use my points but I will keep them for a propper upgrade one day

Oh, and there's the extra checked luggage allowance with Business.

  3. nly if you are prepered to pay the same rate!

I feel sorry for people who, in some sort of insane self-delusionary belief, pay the QANTAS rate for a trip, only to find that they've been relegated to a "code share" Jetstar flight, and get the standard jokestar service level.

    Sucked in! :p

  4. It all isn't bad though....I like the complimentary hazards flash for a couple beats to say thanks. They don't have that back home.

Truckies here do the fast "left right left" indicator to say thanks for allowing them to pass (especially when I'm towing a caravan) on the highway. I do the same when they move over to allow me past when I'm without a van in tow. Also talk to them on the CB - keeps them awake and gives us both some info about what's going on up/down the road.
