Mantra + The Duke touring binding is supposed to be the ultimate one ski quiver. If the skis are for next season, get the dukes (or the rumoured touring bindings from Salomon or Look). Naxos and Freerides are lighter and better for touring but sloppy at speed on hardpack so more of a quiver option.

Did anyone who I have given a ride to lately leave a pair of black mountain hardware gloves in the back of my car? It was hard to see them because they are the same colour as my floor...

All armadas are wood cores. Thanks for the link but I only own a screwdriver, the chances of me doing anything beyod tightening the DIN is pretty low...

Armada ARGs. I want to avoid risers. I would fill the holes and sell them to someone with a different bootsole before I did that.

I ripped a binding off the ski this weekend, stripping the screwholes. I am told the only fix is helicoils. I am not even sure what a helicoil is (I think it is the metal screw holes like those that hold on a snowboard binding). Does anyone know where I could get this done?
