How long does it take for Tenjindaira to get tracked out? Esp. the trees as seen in other pics.
-
Happo south. Over to Tubby.

Got it. Cheers.

Sorry. I'm not good at the computer internet. But yeah, that's it. That was fast. Didn' know anyone else skied South/West of Nagano.
Hit us with one, Snowbender.

Not sure it was easy but Nozzle left a strong impression on me last year. Especially that side of the mountain
Lemme get something up....
-
Nozawa onsen on the far right side of the mountain?
-
These are getting way to hard for me. but anyway, let's have another.....

Yona Ale is like my favourite beer these days.

Appi, by chance?

Nozawa. Have to go back with fatter skis.

Sounds like they went South from the top into the abyss, towards some onsen. I'm heading up there to ski on Fri/Sat, so mental note not to do that.

"Untracked trees." The bigger places in Myoko would deliver. Cortina is a great little secret that everyone knows. There are some less obvious places in the backwoods of Gifu. Try Hide Nagarahara for a real old-school flavour.

Ohh, and Red too. Never skied BC interior.

TBH, I'd REALLY like to check out Revelstoke and Kicking Horse. Not sure if it would be Goosie's thing - with all the Canadians and all.

She was a junkie. So what? She was annoying, sure, but that's more to do with the media thing.
As for her music. "**** genius" is a little much. I didn't particularly like the genre but she was a good song writer. Simple catchy melodies over thick, rich chord progressions. I think the whole Afro-American-retro-image thing often got in the way of the songs. They would stand stronger if it was just her and her guitar. -Which is unlike most of the modern electronic music which is all atmospherics and little substance (though I would prefer to listen to modern electro stuff 80% of the time.)

Of course there has to be an "Amy Winehouse is dead" thread, but I'm surprises Soub started it. Didn't think you liked anything since the 50's, Soub.

Yeah, Gifu's cool. I'd love to live there. Had a great time at a little backwoods ski area this year.
-
Well, OK. Those two wear the base particularly well.
-
OK, Flea and Tony Levin are cool, but imagine how uber-cool they would be if they played the guitar instead. They wouldn't have to settle for sloppy seconds anymore.

Impossible not to like Thomas.

yeah, looks like fun. Those really aren't the first images that come to mind when I think of Gunma.
Edit: re Tenjindaira on page 16. I'm behind.
