Can anyone let me know if the Club Med in Sahoro, Hokaido is good? I plan to go this Dec. Anyone has been there before and can let me know if the snow condition in early Dec 10 is good for skiing?

Thank you so much for all your valuable opiton. In fact, I am just a new snowboarder and my friends want to learn ski there. The reason why we plan Sahoro because it was not crowded as compared with other resort which the other facilities is good. So tree skiing is not important to us. What we need may be just one beginner and one intermediate slope. I heard from club med that they will still produce some artifical snow if the natural is not enough but of course I prefer the natural one. Do you think where I could get the most update information on web?
Besides, I plan to buy some equipment in Japan (tokyo/sapporo) Can anyone suggest me where to buy, how to buy and how much would I have to budget?
