  1. I had some Kobe beef - not actually in Kobe, but in Tokyo. Well they said it was Kobe beef. And it was probably the best I have ever had. Very tender, good stuff it was. Happily I wasn't paying the bill - it was outrageously expensive.

Tell us what it was like, will you Furm?

  2. I'm one of those who would get a migraine just thinking about putting my own pc together. I'd just rather pay a bit more and get one sent to me ready to use. Whatever, you are sure better going with Dell and the like than going to your local electric shop that will give you on the shelf ones for more. For the same price you'll get more, esp. when they have one of their offers on.

    I think. Maybe. \:\)

Sounds like he was having fun then.

Seems he was prepared as well:

"The FBI believes the student responsible for killing seven people at a northern Minnesota high school used his grandfather's police-issue pistol to carry out the killings, and that he drove to the school in his grandfather's police car. The FBI also told reporters Jeff Weise, 16, was wearing a bullet proof vest during his killing spree."

  4. I've seen it, that first one. It was alright, didn't think it was amazing but it was good to see Dr Who. Yappari, the memories of all the naff effects, wonky cardboard walls and seemed that much better. It might grow and become a classic, will have to give it another watch on the tv when I can.

  5. What is an ojisan? Is it a guy of a particular age (what age?) or is it a look/attitude? (or a bit of both)?

The image I have of an ojisan is a pensioner-aged type. That may be completely incorrect...

    Do tell!

  6. Less ticket machines or less ojisans? I presume you mean less ojisans? I don't have much to compare to, but always feel there are so many numbers of workers doing all sorts of things in this country.

Construction workers make me laugh, about 10 guys needed to fill a small hole and 10 to coordinate the traffic. Totally ott. Why do companies do this? Are there regulations that require extreme overstaffing or something, otherwise it doesn't make much sense. Cut those costs!
