what ever you guys need to send, why dont you just upload it a filehosting site and let whoever download it?
some sites allow free uploads to the tune of 1GB or more these days.
Then burn it on your own PC.
P.s. why doesnt it surprise FT's computer wasnt cutting the mustard? I think he is jinxed with computers!

Shuttle? no its a long distance bus journey - the night bus. There are many of them they leave at between 6-8pm and arrive in Kyoto at about 5am.
Most local travel agencies can book them, the bookings of all the different travel agencies are pooled and parties distributed over dozens of different buses.
Horrible things - I have taken too many of them, a necessary evil.

Nikon D300? thats a nice piece of hardware you are shooting with, have you taken it out on the slopes? you could get some awesome shots with that

been once it was good, but there are better places, closer and cheaper to get too so unless someone else is paying probably wont be going back.
For people overseas I can see the allure, especially those from Oz, who can fly right into Sapporo bypassing KIX or Narita.

JP Bank (formerly the Post Office) take foreign cards for withdrawals.
There are other int' ATMS around aswell.

my advice is get a fast card, one that has fast read and write times.
A really cheap card will have a 1MB/sec write time will take literally freakin ages to transfer a full card.
The cheapest cards out there transfer at 6X speed which is about 1.0MB/sec (actually 0.9MB/sec)
If you have a basic 2GB card that is full it will take 37mins to tranfer that full card to your PC!
4 gig card over an hour
6x 0.9MB/sec
40x 6.0
66x 10.0
133x 20.0
you want a high speed card and the most well known are the Sandisk Ultra II and Extreme III
Ultra II is is 9MB/sec and Extreme III is 20MB/sec. The latter will dump 2 gigs in less than 2mins - a big difference and the write speed is important for continuous shot mode on fast SLR cameras.

For us snowlovers and action people thats an important aspect to take into account.
I personally have lost two el-cheapo cards to heat, and it wasnt even that hot but it fried the cards.
