I like that mountain. Not the biggest or more impressive but some good runs over there. The steep slope is a good challenge too.
The only resort area in Kita Shiga really worth a day is Ryuoo. Usually great snow up top there.

The Sisters of Mercy Floodland. Class sound. If only Eldrich could sing a bit better!

Big story in the mirror today
Quote:George Michael in council pleaYears ago George Michael sang Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - now he's making that plea in real life.
The singer has asked his local North London council for permission to remove a back-garden veranda which robs the breakfast room of light.
"George wants to see the sun as he eats his cornflakes," we're told.

Nozawa - great. My favorite place, followed by Shiga Kogen.

This thread is most definitely a blatant attempt by SJ to up the forums post count!! It should be banned. (Am I in the wrong thread?)

The Japanese generally are well into present giving. Often my folks back home don't see the need to "go overboard" with presents to my Japanese family/friends, and I often feel that what is given and the way it is given is somehow not good enough. Whether my Japanese friends actually think that as well, I do not know.
I'd say put some real thought into it and make sure it is nicely presented when you give it to them.

I'm lost when is Easter? Is it expected to be busy or just a normal weekend here?

How I will miss the little snowmen. Their day has past though, significantly better. Well done.
