I have found that too - the tv seems to be on whether people are watching it or not. Like my parents might have the radio on. At least with radio it's usually music rather than just the shouting that goes on for the most part on tv here.

The train up to the top of Jungfraujoch may be expensive but it is an incredible ride and experience. A must-do.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. I can't work out why they do it. It's as if they're telling you a secret and no-one else should here.
I do actually know someone back home who does it though, one of my mums friends. I would say she speaks in whispers more than she does with some 'bass' added in there.

Are you talking about the books that you put in the machine and they just list up all the in and out?
If so, can't see what the problem with that is, only takes a second and I think it's really useful as a record.
The only problem I have with that book is the family of ducks on the cover. I like ducks fine, just don't want cartoon ducks on my bank account book.

I went there a couple of weeks ago. I liked it, the snow was really good and some good runs over there. Took a while to get there though, it's deep into the mountains longer than you think.
