I'm thinking of taking a trip to Naggers just before GW, and was wondering where will be the best place to do some last riding on the snow. It seems that the snow at Shiga Kogen is better than Hakuba even now.
Which would you be planning to 'do'?

OK I'm getting a car and it seems the shaken on it will cost something like 140000 yen. I've heard stories about shaken, none that have explained to me in any clear way just why is it so expensive?
Is it just a big scam, like I feel it may well be?

Since I've been in Japan the phone companies keep on sending me stuff, but it all seems difficult to work out. I'd welcome any more insight into this too.

Do lots of Japanese have 2 outfits? One for the cold weather and one for spring time when it's much warmer. When I was out over the weekend it seemed everyone had changed clothes?!?
