what is the difference between "gaijin" and "gaikokujin" (sorry if I missed something, I know next to nothing about Japanese).

[To all you boarders - did you used to ski?]

I first skied over 20 years ago, then tried some boarding a couple of years back in France. I will be in Japan for the next winter season and will probably start off back on the skis.

I am in Beijing. but work will take me to Japan in early summer for a year or two. So I'm really looking forward to that.
