OK the Porto vs Liverpool game IS on.
They are showing many of the games taped on the PPV channels (800-802 on CS110), however they are 'free' (無料). I dont know if they are free to everyone or just to those with the football pack.
So I'll be up at 6.15 tommorow to watch the game before work

cant remember but i think surely no worse than now. they are showing just one or two games each night, its very poor indeed. surely if they have the rights to the games they should be showing every single one, even if its taped and shown at 2pm the next that would be fine.

liverpool champions league game is not on live tonight. im not amused. they are showing only one poxy game, same tommorow too. somehow a repeat of a j-league game is more important.

Ive spent the past 3 months working on a system that replaces email with a kind of online issue tracking thing, but with built in workflows etc.

Strange this weekend with the TV. Maybe something to do with the Rugby world cup? Its been great up until now so lets hope this is just a 'glitch' to use the footballing cliche :-)

Ive been all over the place in Asia: India 6 months, 2.5 months philippines, and shorter trips to thailand, malaysia, hong kong, sri lanka and nepal. Indonesia was the only place I had any trouble like that, so I'm reluctant to go back when there are other countries offering similar things but with less hassles.

That was arriving to Medan airport in Sumatra.
The other incident I had was baggage handlers stealing from my checked in baggage - that happened at Mataram airport in Lombok.

Something like that happened to me.
We made the mistake of being last in the queue to get through the passport control and the immigration staff waited till everyone but us had left and then they took our group to the airport managers room and surrounded us and demanded $100 per person or else we fly back home. They werent nasty, no weapons etc, and we got away with paying only $5 each but it wasted time and was just generally unpleasant.

I stayed on Gili Islands which was amazing, kind of a backpackers paradise with amazing beaches and friendly people. Thats one of the best places I've been to on my backpacker travels.
Generally I disliked Indonesia because I was a victim of crime there twice (both by airport officials), and the corruption clearly strangles the country. But the nature is outstanding.

what resolution do u get sopcast in? for me it is about 250 pixels wide - is there some way to increase that? If I could get it in 600pix then it would be enough.

I may watch it on sopcast then, though the quality is very poor.

Someone i know uses mininova to find tv/movies then puts them onto a 250gb HDD and plugs it into his cheap divx player with usb input.

I have CS110 and I only pay for the football pack - i think its 3500yen for premier league and champions league.

Torres and Voronin are looking good together. Torres' pace is awesome. I'm feeling good about us this season. Would like to play Man Utd soon to take advantage of their weak spell.

You can buy readymade pastry here in any crappy supermarket, but its the kind best suited to desserts. I like the proper stodgy pastry (shortcrust?).

You didnt miss much. we were awful. It was the opposite of the Derby game. We gave the ball away almost every pass.
Babel wasnt in the game, he seems to be a bad signing. Gerrard didnt shine.
Pennant got sent off for making too many pointless lunges, though on another day he could have got away without even a yellow.
We almost nicked the win at the end with a few chances as they tired. Hyppia was everywhere.
Porto have a young guy who was awesome, forget his name but he was everywhere like Billy Whizz, seems like many big clubs are after him.
