Can't see Man City doing much this year. I think Robinho will struggle, but lets see. It'll be good to have him in the premiership at least, adds a bit of extra colour to the proceedings.

when does it get to the point that people start to do somethig about it? what does it take? 2 hurricane katrinas in the space of a few years? seems like we need more than that to do something.
I think the majority of people agree that something should be done, but I for one am doing absolutely nothing about it.

The president is nobody anyway, they are just a puppet for the real government. Do you really think the president is there in his chair calling the shots and making all the decisions by himself like some King from the middle ages?
Therefore, it can be anyone as president. It could be a senile old movie star with 0 brain cells like Reagan, or a monkey like the current one, it doesnt make any difference.

I had to give a presentation in the US and wanted an icebreaker for my introduction (to tell them I'm from the UK and show them where it is on this map). I remembered seeing some kind of map like this before so did a search for it on google and this is what I found, its on lots of sites.

Getting knocked out of champions league is the only way we will be able to challenge properly for the premiership. We have had champions luck the first two games so who knows maybe this is our year.

It was pretty hilarious to see the keystone cops outwitted by a lone monkey. Its probably sitting in a rotenburo now somewhere, smoking a fag with a cop helmet on.

I found the judo very boring, there seems to be only two ways to win, by pin or by overarm throw.
The fencing was really good, just dramatic with the lights off, kinda like a star wars light sabre battle.

Wagamama is well known as being total crap. Its just a novelty place where they use wireless radio/remote control thingys to take the orders.

Britain won something? I havent seen them win anything.
If JP TV is to be believed, the Olympics consists of Judo, Breastroke swimming, Soft/baseball and maybe volleyball if you dont mind watching after midnight.

I was bit shocked to see Hull in the premiership. I seem to remember them being regular rivals of hartlepool down in the 3rd / 4th division not so long ago.

The other girl with the good voice was actually quite cute too. But admittedly, the girl they chose looked like a disney princess.
Most of the chinese women athletes look like men.

well i think its not that bad unless you are going out then back into tokyo. ive travelled during obon many times and never had more than a 30 min traffic jam.

Yeh that was really awesome, especially the digital/pixels bit at the start. I heard it cost 24 billion pounds though.
I'm glad I'm not in London anymore, having my taxes going into that. Having said that, I might be moving to Kobe where there residents have to a pay a fair % of their city tax for the airport no-one wanted or uses. (did you know kobe had an airport? yep thats right, and its about 10km from kansai kix).

Yes i often drive kansai-nagano at night and regularly have trouble with the trucks.
e.g.
- as you are overtaking, they indicate right and start to swerve into you then notice at the last moment and pull back (has happened about 5 times)
- start swerving maniacly between the lanes really fast so noone would dare go near them.
- just be an asshole - drive alongside another truck at a slow speed for miles and miles so noone can pass (actually this happens much more in the uk than here for some reason).
once it gets past 10pm it seems like it is law of the jungle for some people.
Cars arent much better, you get some real clowns out there going 160 and putting full beam on you.
