food sucks but the beaches are amazing. i loved it there. palawan is great if you are looking for a really quiet undeveloped place, theres like one road through the whole island and its tiny.
Cebu, borocay etc are safe and you can go there and se the cracking beaches. it will be cheap too cos no-one is going there anymore. i went in summer of 2000 and it was very quiet, it will be even more quiet now.
I hated thailand but loved philippines.

i am reading Number9Dream.
its set in japan, but isnt one of those gaijin in japan books at all. its good. it got nominated for the booker prize.

i think it helps de defy the laws of physics and throw at a more acute angle than 45 degrees. i threw at about 50 and it went well.

still we have them at anfield now.
i wasnt complainign about the snow, i was complaining about it melting. thats never a good thing. especially when it melts onto my dish and refreezes

i wish i could get em in nagano, i love them beans.

you can get em in that big internatinoal supermarket on the omotesando road in tokyo. i think its called kinokuniya. about 200yen a tin for the mighty heinz (oz import).
i saw them in the big mall in yokohama too. you know, near the big multiplex cinema. theres a small supermarket in there.

i have a nintendo gamecube now, but i am gonna sell to a used game shop. they said they'd gimme 15,000yen for the console pus my extra controller and 3 games. can go wrong!
i need an xbox cos the online facility looks great, and some of the games will be in english. plus they have better games. i have realised nintendo is 90% a kids console.

that one was closed. but i went to one in roppongi, v.close to gaspanic and it SUCKED! it was sooo expensive. the food tasted ok, but it was no way worth the money. and the drinks were crazy prices. anyone been to that one?
