I live in nagano and saw my first cockroach of the year about a month ago. Two of them actually, walking along together in my bathroom :-(

theres a sports bar in shibuya, it has tons of tvs. however, i went in there on the day of the man utd vs liverpool game and they didnt even know it was on!!! they ahd a big advert for the other game that day (something crud like charlton vs tottenham) - AMATEURS!!! We went to a british pub instead.
Anyway, I am rooting for man utd for the title.
Cant believe fergie left becks out of the real madrid game! he really showed fergie up though when he came on and scored two. I cant see that guy leaving man utd, man utd need him too much commercially (and possibly vice versa to some extent). I wonder what fergie has got against him (if anything) - to me his a model footballer, even if he is totaly poser. he does the business on the pitch and is a good ambassador for the sport (discpline wise). I can understand fergire hating Dwight Yorke for his womanizing ways and that, but Becks? Come on!

I found a site that showed their program. they have training for different arts on different days, you can turn up and watch, use the coffee shop and wander the park too.
On saturday, they have karate, aikido and HALBERD!!!

I have a friend coming this weekend who is into martial arts (kendo and karate). I heard at the tokyo (nippon?) budokan they do lots of events and you can just turn up and watch training etc. Its meant to be great. But...
Where is it?
Does it have a webpage?
Is there anything happening there this weekend?

yeah i know where you mean, there was a huge block of flat on the hill above the clock end. it was famous for free views of the pitch.
i lived opposite the entrance to the north bank/east stand. so halfway along the long side of the pitch, on the east side of the stadium. we lived in a big house on the corner, and had a hot dog guy who used our garage on matchdays and gave us free burgers and drinks.
The gates open at halftime for people who want to leave early, so i used to walk in at that time and watch the 2nd half quite a lot. Niall Quinn, Tony Adams, Charlie Nicholas, David Rocastle, - that kind of time. i was about 8-13 years old at that time.

yes you get a headset with the online kit. you can talk in real time with the 8 other players (or whatever) in your team.
halo 2 will be amazing. Also Unreal Tournament 2.
But I think there aren't enough people playing online at the moment, so they are not bringing out so many online games as they dont want to dilute the online players even more and end up having only 100 people playing each game each night. less games means more people in each game. having said that, people in japan can hook up with player in USA etc, so i dont see why they arent realising japanese games in the US, and US games over here.

Despite living outside arsenal staduim for 8 years as a kid and watching them many times, I am rooting for Man Utd. I guess I like Fergie.

No seriously, I am just wondering whether to use honorific language and be super polite for the first meeting, or to just be myself. First impressions are everything so I am thinking if I be super deferent and polite at the first occasion, I will be able to go ahead and do what I want later (hotdog gags aside).

Smoking is a totally unnatural thing to do and it should be banned everywhere. You are paying lots of money to breath smoke that is bad for you.
Further, its stinks and is really horrible to be around for non-smokers. I actually leave bars/restaurants early if I end up next to people who are smoking. Then I have to go home and wash my clothes cos they reek. I deliberatly do not invite friends out who I know are gonna just puff away while sitting near to me.
As you may be able to tell, it really bugs me.

i like to do it, but i do it out of sight. the bushes is my favourite.
i saw a guy doing it at a bus stop in tokyo. it was 11pm friday night and he was wasted and it was raingin hard, but still i came very close to smacking him. there was a toilet like 10m away! i had an umbrella and wanted to cuff him in the genitals but didnt want to dirty my equipment.

no i am still paying it for now, just in case i wanna play a little now and then. its only £3.30 a month (in english money, cos i get charged to my credit card).
I only have muzzle flash and PSO. i dont know about whacked. I am just waiting for TFLO to come out and dont really play games enough to warrant getting a big collection.
